Why our Brooklyn office exists

We opened a physical office in Brooklyn — at 1801 Dorchester Rd 2, Brooklyn, NY 11226 — because most of the people we work with are local, and a large, unfamiliar decision like traveling abroad for dental treatment is easier to think through with a real person, in person, rather than only over email. By appointment, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., you can sit down with us, talk through your case, look at what a written estimate from Taki Dent typically covers, and ask direct questions before you decide anything. The office exists for exactly that: consultation, paperwork, and coordination. It is not a dental surgery, and no dental treatment of any kind is performed there.

My Dentist Brooklyn Consulting is not a New York dental practice, we do not own or operate Taki Dent, and Taki Dent does not own or operate us — we are two separately owned companies connected by a named, disclosed business relationship, not one dental organization operating under two names.

Who does what

Because the two roles are easy to blur, here is the division of labor as plainly as we can put it. We provide: plain-English explanations of treatment options and pricing, help organizing your dental records and history, coordination of communication with Taki Dent's team, help interpreting a written estimate, and logistics support around scheduling and travel. Taki Dent provides: the clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and all dental treatment itself, performed by its own licensed dentists at its own facility in Antalya. If a step involves looking inside your mouth, reading a scan to make a clinical judgment, or touching a drill, it is Taki Dent's responsibility — never ours.

Who the treatment contract is with

If you proceed with treatment, the treatment contract — the agreement covering your dental care, its price, and its terms — is between you, the patient, and Taki Dent, the treating clinic. My Dentist Brooklyn Consulting is not a party to that clinical agreement; our role is to help you reach the point of having a clear, written estimate from Taki Dent, and to support the logistics around it. Taki Dent bills and collects payment for the dental treatment it performs. Any separate fee for our own consulting or coordination services, where one applies, is billed by us, directly, and disclosed to you in advance — it is never hidden inside the price of your dental treatment.

How we earn revenue

We earn revenue in two possible ways, and we'd rather state both than leave it vague. First, when a patient we've worked with proceeds with treatment at Taki Dent, we may receive compensation from Taki Dent connected to the consulting and coordination services we provided — this is a standard referral-and-coordination commercial arrangement between two independent companies, and we disclose it here, in our disclaimer, and on every page where the partnership is relevant. Second, in some cases we may charge a separate, disclosed consulting fee directly to a patient for services such as detailed case review or document preparation.
