Patient case studies
We are building a library of real, documented patient cases from our partner clinic, Taki Dent, in Antalya. Rather than publish a gallery of dramatic images we can't stand behind, we would rather wait and do this honestly. This page explains how we will present cases, and what each one will show.
My Dentist Brooklyn Consulting LLC is a Brooklyn-based dental treatment consulting and coordination company. Dental treatment is provided by our partner clinic, Taki Dent, in Antalya, Turkey. We do not provide dental treatment at our Brooklyn office.
Case studies are coming soon — and here's our promise about them
Every case we publish will be a real patient, with real, written consent and real treatment records behind it. We will not fabricate cases, and we will not use stock, staged or borrowed before-and-after photos dressed up as our patients' results. If we cannot show a case truthfully and with permission, we will not show it at all. That is a deliberate choice, and it is why this page is honestly marked "coming soon" rather than filled with pictures we can't verify.
Once published, cases will be filterable by treatment type. These categories are placeholders for the structure to come — none of them yet contains a live case.
How each case will be presented
A single before-and-after image tells you almost nothing useful on its own. A proper case study tells you what the problem was, what was done, what it took, and what happened afterward — including anything that didn't go to plan. Every case we publish will document:
The starting complaint
What brought the patient in — the problem they wanted solved, in their own terms, and the clinical picture at the first assessment.
The treatment plan
The plan the treating dentists in Antalya proposed, the options considered, and why a particular approach was chosen for that patient.
Implants and materials used
The specific implant system and restorative materials placed — named brands and models, not vague "premium" language.
Number of visits
How many clinic visits and trips the treatment actually took, including any planned two-stage sequence.
Duration
The real timeline from first assessment to final restoration, including healing and integration time between stages.
Complications or plan changes
Honestly — anything that changed along the way, any complication encountered, and how it was handled. Not just the tidy version.
The outcome
The result at completion, described plainly, with before-and-after imagery only where the patient has consented to its use.
Follow-up
The aftercare and control schedule for that case, and how local follow-up in New York fitted alongside treatment in Antalya.
Every case will also carry a plain reminder that individual results vary: one patient's outcome and timeline do not predict another's, because every mouth, medical history and course of healing is different. A case study shows what happened for one person; it is not a promise of the same for you, and a clinical outcome is never something any clinic can promise in advance.
The visual format we'll use
Where a patient consents to before-and-after imagery, we will present it as a clean, comparable pair — the kind of draggable before/after view below. Until real, consented patient photos are supplied, these frames render as clearly-labeled placeholders. There are no stock or staged dental photos standing in for real results here.

Why we hold this line on consent and honesty
Dental-tourism marketing is full of spectacular before-and-after galleries, and a good number of those images are stock photos, borrowed cases, or heavily staged shots that never belonged to the clinic showing them. We will not do that. A case study is a form of evidence, and evidence you cannot verify is worse than none — it erodes exactly the trust it is meant to build. So our rule is simple and non-negotiable: a real patient, real records, and written permission, or it does not go on this page.

What "documented consent" actually means to us
Consent, done properly, is more than a signature on a release form. Before any patient's case appears here, they will have given specific, written permission that describes exactly how their words, records and images may be used — on this page, and nowhere they did not agree to. Consent given for one purpose is not treated as consent for another. A patient can decline to be featured at all with no effect whatsoever on their treatment or their relationship with us or the clinic, and a patient who has agreed can change their mind and ask to be removed later. Sensitive details are only shown to the extent a patient has approved, and health imaging in particular is handled through the same secure, access-controlled approach we describe on our patient records page rather than passed around casually.
We would rather this page stay sparse and honest than fill it quickly. A real case, told completely — including the parts that were slow, uncertain or had to be re-planned — is worth far more to someone weighing this decision than a wall of flattering photographs. When cases go live here, that is the standard each one will meet: a real patient, a real record, informed written consent, and the whole story rather than the highlight.
