How it works
Coordinating dental treatment across two countries sounds complicated. In practice it is five clear steps, and we think you should be able to see exactly what happens at each one — including, plainly, which parts happen in Brooklyn and which parts only ever happen in Antalya.
My Dentist Brooklyn Consulting LLC is a Brooklyn-based dental treatment consulting and coordination company. Dental treatment is provided by our partner clinic, Taki Dent, in Antalya, Turkey. We do not provide dental treatment at our Brooklyn office.
Before we walk through the steps, one distinction matters more than any other on this page: our Brooklyn office coordinates your case — it does not diagnose you, treat you, or replace a dentist. Every clinical decision about your teeth is made by Taki Dent's own licensed dental professionals, in Antalya, after they have assessed your case. Keep that in mind as you read Step 3 below; it is the step people most often misunderstand about services like ours, and we would rather over-explain it than let anyone assume something inaccurate about who is making decisions about their teeth.

Tell us what you need
You start by telling us about your teeth, your budget, and your timeline — through a short intake form, by phone, or by visiting our Brooklyn office by appointment. If you already have X-rays, photos, or a quote from a US dentist, you can share those too. At this stage we are gathering information, not making any clinical judgment about your case.

Administrative review & record coordination
Our Brooklyn team reviews what you've submitted for completeness — do we have enough information to request a meaningful treatment plan, are your existing records legible and current, is anything missing that Taki Dent's clinical team will need. We organize your records, translate basic administrative details where useful, and send a complete, well-organized package to Taki Dent. This is coordination and paperwork, not a clinical evaluation of your teeth.

Clinical assessment
This is the step where a real clinical decision gets made, and we want to be exact about who makes it. The clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan are made by the treating, licensed dental professionals at Taki Dent in Antalya — not by My Dentist Brooklyn, and not by anyone in our Brooklyn office. We do not diagnose dental conditions, and nothing in this step is a New York dental service. Depending on what you've submitted, Taki Dent's clinical team may request additional images (such as a CBCT scan taken in Antalya) before finalizing a plan. What you receive at the end of this step is a preliminary, case-specific estimate based on the information available — not a final diagnosis rendered sight-unseen.

Fixed, written price
You receive a written, itemized price: the procedures involved, the implant brand and restorative material proposed, the number of clinic visits expected, and a price broken out by procedure — shown separately from your own flight (your hotel and VIP transfers are included in Taki Dent's treatment price). If you provide a CBCT scan, Taki Dent gives you a fixed, written final price before you travel, guaranteed not to change through the end of your treatment; without a CBCT, the figure is a close preliminary estimate that a CBCT confirms before you commit. We walk you through every line before you decide whether to book travel.

Travel & treatment
Once you've reviewed and accepted the written price, we help you plan realistic trip timing around your treatment schedule — flight windows and how many visits to expect (your hotel and VIP transfers are arranged by Taki Dent as part of the treatment price). In Antalya, Taki Dent's own clinical team confirms the plan in person and performs all treatment at its own facility. Once you're back home, we hand off into aftercare: staying reachable to help you interpret Taki Dent's written aftercare instructions, flag any concerns to the clinic on your behalf, and point you toward a local dentist for routine follow-up or an emergency that can't wait for a return trip.
How your price is fixed before you travel
The price you plan around does not have to be a guess. If you provide a CBCT scan — a 3D scan that shows bone volume, density and nerve position — Taki Dent's clinical team can prepare a fixed, written final price before you travel, and it is guaranteed not to change through the end of your treatment. You know the full cost in advance. If you haven't had a CBCT yet, the figure we share from your photos, description and any X-rays is a close preliminary estimate; a CBCT then confirms the final guaranteed price before you commit. Either way, we would rather you travel knowing your number than let an unconfirmed figure harden into a surprise once you've already booked a flight.
What "clinical assessment" does and doesn't mean here
To be direct about a point we take seriously: nothing in our process is "upload your X-ray and get diagnosed from Turkey." What you get from submitting records before travel is a case review and a preliminary estimate — useful for deciding whether the trip is worth planning, and for budgeting — not a formal diagnosis or a finalized treatment plan. The formal clinical assessment happens in Antalya, in person, performed by Taki Dent's treating dentists under their own professional license and responsibility. New York rules around teledentistry and remote diagnosis are exactly why we draw this line clearly rather than blur it for the sake of a smoother-sounding sales pitch.
What our Brooklyn office does — and doesn't do
What we do
- Explain treatment options, travel logistics, pricing and quote structure in plain English.
- Coordinate documents and communications between you and Taki Dent's clinical team.
- Organize appointment scheduling and trip logistics around your treatment plan.
- Provide administrative support before and after travel, including help interpreting written aftercare instructions.
- Stay reachable if a question or concern comes up once you're back home.
What we don't do
- Perform dental exams, X-rays, or any clinical procedure at our Brooklyn office.
- Diagnose dental conditions or finalize a treatment plan ourselves.
- Prescribe medication.
- Perform dental treatment of any kind, in Brooklyn or elsewhere.
- Replace emergency or local dental care, or guarantee any clinical outcome.
What happens if your case isn't a fit
Not every case is worth a trip abroad, and we'll tell you honestly when that's true. A single filling, a routine cleaning, or an acute infection that needs same-day care is almost never a good candidate for travel — you need a local dentist now, not a written estimate and a flight booking. Treatment abroad tends to make more sense for larger, plannable work: multiple implants, an All-on-4 or All-on-6 full-arch restoration, a full set of veneers, or full-mouth restoration, where the total US price gap is large enough to justify travel and where the timeline can be planned in advance rather than handled same-day.
Aftercare hand-off, in practice
When you're back in New York, Taki Dent sends home written aftercare instructions, your treatment documentation, and — for implant cases — an implant passport recording the brand, model and lot number of what was placed. We stay involved at this stage: if something feels off, we help you understand whether it looks routine or worth flagging to Taki Dent, help you get in touch with the clinic directly, and point you toward finding a licensed local dentist in Brooklyn for routine follow-up, a second opinion, or any care that genuinely needs same-day, in-person attention. Any follow-up warranty coverage from Taki Dent is subject to the specific conditions in your written warranty documentation, not an unconditional guarantee — we'd rather set that expectation now than have it be a surprise later.
