Who we are, and why there is a Brooklyn office at all

My Dentist Brooklyn Consulting LLC is a Brooklyn-based dental treatment consulting and coordination company. Our job is to help New York patients who are considering major dental treatment — implants, full-arch restorations, crowns, veneers and the like — understand their options, see how published US costs compare with our partner clinic's starting prices, and coordinate the practical side of getting treated abroad. We are not dentists, we are not a New York dental practice, and we do not deliver any clinical care. The company that treats patients is a separate business: our disclosed partner clinic, Taki Dent, in Antalya, Turkey, where licensed dentists carry out the actual dentistry.

A lot of dental-tourism arrangements happen entirely over email and messaging apps, with no physical presence a patient can actually visit. We think a real, local office matters. Sending your dental history overseas, weighing a trip abroad and committing several thousand dollars to treatment is a significant decision, and it is easier to make when you can sit across a table from a real person in your own city, ask blunt questions, and get straight answers before anyone books a flight. The Brooklyn office exists for exactly that: a place to be listened to, informed and coordinated with — not sold at.

What actually happens in the office

A visit is a consultation and coordination meeting. In plain terms, that means we do the administrative and explanatory work that sits around treatment, never the treatment itself. A typical conversation covers:

• Understanding what you need. We listen to your situation — the tooth or teeth that concern you, any existing quotes or X-rays you already have from a US dentist, your timeline and your budget.
• Explaining the options. We walk through the categories of treatment Taki Dent offers, what each involves at a high level, roughly how many visits it takes, and who each option tends to suit — without diagnosing you.
• Going through the numbers. We show how published New York cost ranges compare with Taki Dent's fixed US-dollar starting prices, what a preliminary estimate includes and excludes, and how the total cost of treatment abroad adds up once flights, accommodation and time are counted.
• Coordinating records and communication. With your consent, we help gather and organize documents, and act as a single point of contact between you and the clinic's team in Antalya.
• Planning the logistics. We explain the travel side — trips, timing, the two-visit implant pattern, and why you should never buy flights before the clinic confirms a plan.

What we do not do here — clearly stated

Because this is the part patients most need to be certain about, we state it plainly and without hedging: we do not provide dental treatment at our Brooklyn office. To be specific — no dental treatment, no X-rays, and no diagnosis is performed at the Brooklyn office. There is no dental chair, no imaging equipment, and no clinical examination on the premises. We do not:

• Examine, clean, treat or operate on anyone's teeth.
• Take X-rays, CBCT scans or any other clinical images.
• Diagnose a dental condition or write a clinical treatment plan.
• Prescribe medication.
• Provide emergency dental care of any kind.
• Replace the routine or emergency care of a local New York dentist.

All of that — diagnosis, imaging, treatment planning and the treatment itself — is done by the treating, licensed dental professionals at Taki Dent in Antalya, under their own professional responsibility and at their own facility. Appointments and hours

The office is open Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 16:00, and runs strictly by appointment. We are a small consulting team, not a drop-in reception desk, so booking ahead means we can set aside proper time for you rather than fitting you between other things. When you book, let us know roughly what you would like to discuss — a general orientation, a specific treatment such as dental implants or All-on-4, or a review of a quote you already have — so we can have the right information ready. You are welcome to bring a partner or family member; second opinions from the people you trust are a healthy part of a big decision, not something we discourage.

Many patients never need to come in at all — the same consultation happens by phone, video call or email, and a lot of people prefer that. The office is there for anyone who would rather have the conversation in person, and the invitation is genuine either way.

Getting here and the neighborhood

The office is at 1801 Dorchester Rd 2, Brooklyn, NY 11226, in the Flatbush / Ditmas Park part of Brooklyn. By subway it is reachable via the B and Q lines, with several bus routes serving the surrounding streets; if you are driving in from elsewhere in the city, ordinary Brooklyn street parking applies. It is a calm, residential setting — the point of an in-person meeting here is an unhurried conversation, so we would rather you arrive relaxed than rush across town.

Accessibility

We want a visit to be workable for everyone. If you have any accessibility needs — step-free access, extra time, a quieter setting, or anything else that would make the visit easier — please tell us when you book and we will do our best to accommodate you, or arrange a phone or video consultation instead so that meeting in person is never a barrier to getting the information you need. If any detail about physical access would affect whether you can visit, ask us directly before you travel across the city and we will give you a straight answer.

Languages

Consultations are conducted in English. Our partner clinic, Taki Dent, also has English-speaking clinical and administrative staff, so your treatment plan, quote, appointment schedule and aftercare instructions are handled in English from the Brooklyn conversation all the way through to treatment in Antalya. If you would be more comfortable having a family member or friend help interpret during a consultation, you are very welcome to bring one.
