How we calculate our US vs Turkey price comparison
The price cards and tables across this site compare typical New York/Brooklyn dental prices against "from" prices at our partner clinic, Taki Dent, in Antalya, Turkey. This page explains exactly how each side of that comparison is sourced, what is and isn't included, and how often the figures are refreshed — so you can weigh them with confidence rather than take them on faith.

Where the New York figures come from
The New York/Brooklyn side of every comparison is built from publicly advertised price ranges from NY and Brooklyn dental providers — the same numbers those practices publish to prospective patients on their own websites and fee schedules. We do not survey patients, average insurance reimbursements, or estimate a "typical" figure from our own case files. Because pricing genuinely varies by neighborhood, provider experience and case complexity, we present a range rather than a single number, and we refresh it periodically as advertised prices move.
Where the Taki Dent partner figures come from
The Antalya side of the comparison is Taki Dent's own fixed US-dollar starting price list, current as of July 2026. These are the clinic's own prices set in US dollars — not a euro list converted at an exchange rate — so there is no currency-conversion step and no risk of a figure drifting with the FX market. We do not add a markup or a coordination fee on top of the clinic's own figure — the "from" price shown is the clinical starting price at the clinic itself. Because Taki Dent periodically updates its own list, we treat the figures as a snapshot and note the "last updated" date above. Once you provide a CBCT scan, Taki Dent turns the applicable starting price into a fixed, written final price for your case, guaranteed before you travel.

Each row on our comparison pages has a defined clinical scope. The table below sets out exactly what is being compared for each procedure.

What isn't included
- Your flight and meals. The partner "from" price does not include your own flight (a New York–Antalya round trip is typically around $700–$1,200) or your meals. Your hotel and VIP transfers (airport ↔ hotel ↔ clinic and back), however, are included in Taki Dent's treatment price.
- Case-specific additions. Extractions, bone grafting, sinus lifts, additional imaging or a second visit for adjustment can all affect the clinic's final written price — which, once your CBCT is provided, is fixed in writing before you travel.
- US-side extras. The NYC/Brooklyn range reflects the advertised procedure price only; it may exclude imaging, anesthesia tier or follow-up visits that some practices bill separately.
Starting price versus your fixed, guaranteed price
The figures on this site are Taki Dent's own fixed US-dollar starting prices — the point where a straightforward case begins. Implant brand, bone density and volume, the number of teeth involved, existing restorations, and gum health all shape the final clinical plan, which is why we show a "from" figure to set realistic expectations for the scale of the US–Turkey price gap. The way you move from that starting figure to a guaranteed number is a CBCT scan: once you provide one, Taki Dent gives you a fixed, written final price before you travel, and it is guaranteed not to change through the end of your treatment. Without a CBCT, the figure is a close preliminary estimate that a CBCT then confirms before you commit.
